"Men Behaving Badly"
Throughout the history of art, men have often been depicted as behaving badly. Characters from Hogarth’s ‘Rake’s Progress’ through to other rakes and rogues featured in 19th and 20th century paintings will be discussed as well as some of the artists themselves (eg Rosetti, Rodin, John and Picasso).
